Our church is a community of like-minded people who come together to experience their Oneness with God and with each other in an atmosphere of love and acceptance.
Transformation and healing happen for many in this environment, because it is safe to ask questions, to speak one’s personal Truth, to laugh, to cry, to share talents and to ask for help. Each person is honored and respected as a beloved Child of God. We are friends who strengthen each other as we walk the spiritual path together.
Spiritual empowerment through personal responsibility is taught and encouraged as a path to more joyful living. We believe spiritual empowerment is developed through understanding and consistent application of five basic principles:
1. There is only One Presence and One Power, God the Good, Omnipotent.
2. Every person is a Child of God.
3. Our thoughts, words and actions create our experience.
4. Prayer and meditation are direct links to God Mind.
5. Knowing the Truth is not enough. We must also live the Truth we know.
I encourage you to learn, grow and serve as an active participant in your church community. Come to Sunday services and social activities. Attend seminars and classes. Sing in the choir. Call your chaplain when you have a special celebration or a challenge. Ask other members of your community for a hug and to pray with you when you need support. Serve as an usher, greeter, Sunday school teacher, bookstore volunteer or office assistant, or on the Social Activities or Hospitality teams. A circle of friends is waiting for you.
If you have not been to church for a while, or if you have participated only a little in the past, I invite you to consider getting more involved. You will be received by a circle of open hearts, eyes that light up when you enter the room and voices that celebrate with you when you reach a goal.
Your community is not complete without you.
