Rev. Linda Machesic

Rev. Linda, as she likes to be called, considers herself a lifelong student. Achieving an

undergraduate degree in education, a master’s in liberal studies, and a Master of

Theology equivalency, she spent many years studying everything that drew her in. She

taught public education, worked as a community outreach organizer and educator for

the Office of Economic Opportunity, and built and operated her own Sylvan Learning

Center franchise. Once she chose the path less travelled into the study of spirituality,

she began teaching and continues to teach classes developed by Unity to inform others

seeking to understand what they are how they relate to the universe around them. Her

passion for teaching is evident in her Sunday lessons where she shares her own

journey, life experiences, and anything she considers helpful to all who are choosing to

live as a spiritual being. Currently, she works full-time at Silent Unity, part of Unity World

Headquarters, and serves as Emeritus Minister at Unity of Daytona Beach where she

enthusiastically serves wherever she is needed.
