Supporting the Spiritual Expansion of Children's Souls

While parents attend Sunday service, we offer nursery care for infants through age three as well as Sunday School classes
for children aged 4 through 11.

Sign-in time is 10:50 a.m., and sign-out time is at the end of service, 12:15 p.m. latest.

Pre-teens and teens are welcome to join the adult service in the sanctuary. See our “Kids Ministry” page under the ‘About’ section.

GROWING TOGETHER
Kids Ministry 2026-2027

Since this is our second term together again after the pandemic break, our Sunday School children are growing together, as they learn to live more like Jesus, whom Unity’s co-founders Charles and Myrtle Fillmore taught is our way-shower. The Sunday School curriculum incorporates fun activities into weekly lessons that coincide with Reverend Cynthia Alice’s message for the adults in order to support family discussion and practice throughout the week, thereby encouraging families to grow together spiritually. And, internally, UDB’s staff, along with our dedicated volunteers, meet regularly to harmonize our ideas, thereby growing together to serve the community with aligned intention.

While registration for nursery care and Sunday School classes is free, love offerings are always welcome to help cover the ongoing cost of supplies and other necessary expenses.

Children’s safety is of utmost importance to us. Sunday School volunteers are background checked annually, as are the program’s director, Mary Wanser, and our nursery attendant, Suzanne Amsel.
